Quality Accreditation is a programme run by CFN to endorse and encourage best practice in the network. It is based on a set of standards developed by members for members, and formally endorsed by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Achieving Quality Accreditation demonstrates that community foundations are serious about quality and accountability. It specifies what we do and how we do it in a way that other quality systems cannot ensure.
Standards include seven key performance areas plus a corporate assessment.
80% of the network is accredited and the remaining 20% are working with CFN to finalise accreditation. Community foundations accredited by CFN are entitled to use the special network logo shown here. CFN accreditation of members runs until the end of 2009.
