CFN services to professional advisers

'Today's Philanthrop-o-ly session was a professional exercise that was intelligently put together - and, I imagine, will prove hugely useful.'

Community foundations offer many services to professional advisers. The goal is to support professional advisers and their relationships with clients in an effort to increase philanthropy across the UK. The more informed the professional advisers are, the more they can assist their clients in finding the right fit when it comes to philanthropy.

CFN and its members offer the following services:

  • Face-to-face meetings with you and/or your clients to discuss community foundations and ways CFN and its members can help meet your clients' charitable goals.
  • Staff presentations about community foundations and how funds work.
  • Philanthrop-o-ly. A one hour interactive session that provides a framework for exploring a client's style of giving and investment considerations. This can be presented for your staff or with clients.
  • The Philanthropy Wheel
  • Printed material on giving through community foundations.
  • Strategies for discussing charitable giving with your clients. Read more ...
  • Site visits to local projects arranged through local community foundations.

CFN also offers full day services customised to you, your company's and/or your clients' needs. These will include combinations of the services listed above as well as site visits to local community foundations and local projects. Most services are free, some there is a charge for.

For more information about how CFN and its members can partner with you to serve your clients, please contact Clare Brooks, Director of Philanthropy or phone +44 20 7713 9326.
