CFN delivers network-wide programmes on behalf of a wide portfolio of funders and organisations, public and private.

Clients

Cabinet Office

  • CFN is a strategic partner of the Cabinet Office. CFN was extensively consulted on the design and content of the government's £130 million Grassroots Grants programme. Community foundations manage over 90% of the £80 million grant programme and the £50 million endowment challenge – which can see your donations more than doubled. Grassroots Grants runs until March 2011 (England only).
Big Lottery Fund

  • CFN is the managing trustee of Big Lottery Fund's Fair Share Trust programme. This £50 million programme tackles disadvantage in areas that have not previously received their fair share of national lottery funds. Runs until 2013 (UK-wide).
Comic Relief

Managing agent for Comic Relief funds. This £6 million programme supports community groups who are using a range of activities, including sport, to: 

  •  Increase access to sport and exercise for people who face social exclusion and isolation 
  • Help people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives to regain their confidence and self-esteem
  • Build skills of local people
  • Increase community cohesion
  • Respond to local economic needs. 
Basis

  • Managing agent for a BASIS capacity building programme for members in the south west. Runs until 2011.
Collaboration Benefits

  • Partner in the 3 year Capacity Builders National Support Services – Collaboration Benefits. Provides training and support to comunity and voluntary organisations wanting to develop strong and successful partnerships. Runs until 2011, England only.
